KCR discharged from hospital, advised more tests next week

Founder-president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was on Saturday discharged from a corporate hospital, where he was admitted on Wednesday with high blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

Several health tests were conducted on him and he was kept under observation for the two days before his discharge. According to the party leaders, the doctors attending Mr. Rao advised him to visit the hospital again on Thursday or Friday to get more tests done. After discharge, Mr. Rao went to his Nandi Nagar residence.

The party leaders stated that his health condition improved after the doctors diagnosed high sodium levels along with high blood sugar and blood pressure levels. He was advised to rest till his next visit. During his admission period in the hospital, he discussed the party affairs with the senior leaders, particularly on the party’s preparedness for the forthcoming ensuing local bodies’ elections.

He also discussed the status of farming, farmers, irrigation and major issues of people with the party leaders who called on him in the hospital.
