KEAM result announcement postponed

The announcement of the KEAM examination results for admissions to engineering courses, which was scheduled to be released on Monday, has been postponed. The decision comes in the wake of the publication of CBSE Class XII revaluation results late on Sunday. Subsequently, several students and parents expressed concern and requested an extension of the deadline for submitting updated marks online for finalising the KEAM rank list.

As a result, Higher Education Minister Roji M. John directed the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) to ensure that students who have received revised marks through the revaluation process are given an opportunity to update their details.

In a statement, the Minister said that the government hoped to ensure equal opportunity for all students and that no eligible candidate should be disadvantaged due to the timing of the revaluation results. The revised date for the announcement will be announced later. The CEE has issued a notification to provide students with the facility of verifying and resubmitting the marks obtained in the qualifying examination until 11.59 p.m. on Tuesday (June 23).
