Kerala Assembly polls 2026 | ISJD announces candidates, Murugadas to replace Krishnankutty in Chittur

The Indian Socialist Janata Dal (ISJD), a constituent of the Left Democratic Front (LDF), declared its candidates for the April 9 Assembly elections.

V. Murugadas will replace Power Minister K. Krishnankutty in Chittur. Sabu George will contest Ernakulam and Mathew T. Thomas in Thiruvalla.

Mr. Krishnankutty announced the candidates here on Monday.

He said there was some dispute over candidate for the Kovalam seat, and that it would be sorted out soon.
