Kerala Blasters Rope In French Striker Kevin Yoke On Free Transfer For ISL 2025-26

Kerala Blasters sign French left-winger Kevin Yoke for the 2025-26 Indian Super League, boosting their attack after his stint with PAE Chania in Greece.

Star French left-winger Kevin Yoke was on Monday roped in by the Kerala Blasters on a free transfer for the 2025-26 season of the Indian Super League. He was plying his trade in Super League 2 in Greece, where he made nine appearances for PAE Chania.

Yoke becomes the latest addition to the club’s team after the announcement of the league’s February 14 start date. Kerala Blasters had earlier confirmed the signing of German attacking midfielder Marlon Roos Trujillo.

Standing at 182 cm (5 feet 9 inches), Yoke is a two-footed forward who arrives at Kerala Blasters after a three-season stint in Greece, featuring across the top two divisions while registering three goals and 11 assists.

“Kevin is a player with qualities that suit the way we want to play. His ability to take on defenders, his movement in wide areas and his experience at the professional level will add strength to our attacking unit," Kerala Blasters CEO Abhik Chatterjee said.

The three-time ISL finalists had earlier brought in forwards Koldo Obieta and Tiago Alves, both of whom featured in the Super Cup. However, uncertainty surrounding the league led to their departures soon after the club’s group-stage exit from the tournament.

A left winger, Yoke can also operate on the right, providing flexibility across the attacking line. A graduate of the PSG youth system, he has spent most of his career in Greece’s competitive leagues with Levadiakos and PAE Chania, sharpening his pace, crossing and direct attacking threat.

Yoke’s game is built around taking on defenders out wide, stretching opposition backlines and creating danger from the flanks. Comfortable on either foot, he blends close control with smart off-the-ball movement in transition, adding tactical variety suited to the Blasters’ attacking approach.
