KHB invites bids for 80,000-seat stadium in Anekal amid push for larger venue

The Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) has invited tenders for the construction of a new international cricket stadium with a seating capacity of 80,000 at Suryanagar 4th Phase in Anekal taluk, on the southeastern outskirts of Bengaluru.  

The project, estimated at ₹943.46 crore, will be executed on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC Mode-1) turnkey basis through a two-bid system via the Karnataka Public Procurement Portal, the tender notification said.
