A mission rooted in brotherhood and betrayal

Directed by 'Jersey' fame Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom follows the intense journey of Constable Surya “Suri,” played by Vijay Deverakonda, who is thrown into an undercover mission in Sri Lanka after his brother becomes entangled in a politically explosive situation.

The movie's central theme revolves around brotherhood.

A star-packed film with mixed reactions

'Kingdom' boasts a strong ensemble cast that includes Ayyappa P. Sharma, Goparaju Ramana, Manish Chaudhari, and Baburaj. The film has been designed as the first installment of a two-part series. One Twitter user wrote, "#KingdomReview A well-crafted drama that stays true to the narrative but falls just short of a high and a missing final punch. The 1st half of the film is intriguing and builds curiosity about the world and the characters.

The treatment feels fresh and different from regular commercial cinema. While it doesn’t delve deeply into core emotions/conflicts early on, the story unfolds in a gripping and intense manner." Another one wrote, "#KingdomReview An Excellent 1st half pure drama . Followed by an excellent second half, except for the last 20 minutes. Last 20mins motham disconnect ayipotham. Again well executed climax ."
