Srikakulam Urban Development Authority chairman and Jana Sena Party Srikakulam Parliament in-charge Korikana Ravikumar was appointed one of the 14 members of the Joining Committee, constituted to coordinate the joining of neutral persons and leaders of other parties in Andhra Pradesh. Mr. Ravikumar met JSP president and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on the sidelines of the party’s meeting in New Delhi on Monday.
The party announced the Joining Committee list on Tuesday (June 16, 2026) and asked him to identify suitable persons in Srikakulam and other parts of the State. In a press release, he said the JSP would invite young and dynamic persons into the party after a thorough screening of their antecedents.

“Many leaders of the other parties are also keen to join JSP. But we will allow them into the party if they understand the party’s ideology. Clean image is the top priority. All the new leaders will be given responsibilities after observing their hard work and dedication, which are required to strengthen the party, ahead of local body elections and the 2029 general elections,” Mr. Ravikumar said.
