The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), is operating special package tour services on weekends and select special days to cater to travellers to Gaganachukki, ChikkaTirupati and Melukote.

According to officials, the services are being operated using Rajahamsa and Ashwamedha Classic buses on Saturdays and Sundays, and have been receiving a positive response from passengers.

The package tours, however, exclude entrance fees and the cost of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Among the prominent routes is the Bengaluru–Gaganachukki package covering Somanathapura, Talakad, Madhyaranga, Barachukki and Gaganachukki waterfalls. The 340-km tour is operated by both Rajahamsa and Ashwamedha services. The Rajahamsa service, introduced on July 5, 2025, is priced at ₹750 for adults and ₹600 for children, while the Ashwamedha service, costs ₹600 for adults and ₹450 for children.

Another package, Bengaluru–Chikka Tirupati, covers Kotilingeshwara, Bangaru Tirupati, Avani, Mulbagal, Kurudumale and Kolar over a distance of 270 km. Operated by Ashwamedha buses, the fare is ₹600 for adults and ₹450 for children.

The Bengaluru–Melukote package spans 350 km via Srirangapatna and Kallahalli, the Ashwamedha service charges ₹670 for adults and ₹500 for children. Commuters can book tickets and access further details on the official KSRTC websites.
