Kunal explained that he has never allowed those thoughts to become part of his creative process.

Sharing his perspective, Kunal stressed that his relationship with his craft has always taken priority over everything else. According to him, his artistic journey has been guided by his own passion and commitment, not by the stature of his extended family.He said, “No, the relationship that I have with my craft or the artist within is the most important to me, and that's paramount.

In the structure of that relationship, I have never thought about it, to be very honest with you. So, I would be lying if I say that I try. It doesn't stay in my mind.”

A relationship that grew into marriage

Kunal Kemmu and Soha Ali Khan first crossed paths while working on the 2009 film Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge. Over the years, their friendship developed into a relationship, eventually leading to marriage in January 2015.Soha is the daughter of legendary actress Sharmila Tagore and the late cricket icon Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.

Despite belonging to a family with a rich legacy in cinema and sports Kunal has consistently maintained that his personal relationships have never shaped the way he approaches acting or filmmaking.The couple welcomed their daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, in September 2017. They frequently share glimpses of their family life on social media.Over the years, he has appeared in films such as 'Kalyug', 'Traffic Signal', Golmaal 3, Go Goa Gone, Malang and Lootcase. In 2024 Kunal made his directorial debut with 'Madgaon Express'. He has now entered the reality television space as the host of the show 'Alliance'.
