A clip from reality show, Alliance is doing the rounds on social media wherein Kushal Tandon and Zaid Darbar are seen working out in the gym. During the conversation, Zaid is seen sharing an incident with Mini Mathur and Arslan Goni. He recalls asking Kushal for a cigarette, saying the ones he had were "bekar" (not good).Kushal responded to Zaid and said, "Tujhe saali, saare meri cheezin pasand aati hai." (You always like my things). Many felt the comment was directed at Gauahar Khan, whom Kushal had dated in the past.While Mini Mathur looked shocked after the comment, Arslan Goni immediately asked both Zaid and Kushal not to make such remarks.As soon as the clip surfaced online, netizens began to slam both Kushal and Zaid. faced backlash after many social media users described his remark as below the belt.

They felt the joke was in poor taste, particularly because it was made in front of Gauahar Khan's husband. Also, many users criticised Zaid for laughing at Kushal's remark rather than calling him out. Some felt he should have defended Gauahar Khan in that moment.
