'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2' 18th June written update: Rio's engagement to Vaishnavi leaves Parth heartbroken

In this episode of 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', Tulsi asks Parth about Vaishnavi, and he refuses to be with her. He wishes them the best of luck and gives his permission for her union with Rio.

Nandini tells Tulsi she is not seeing Parth's pain, but she assures her that she can see the pain of the estranged couple, but noted that everyone is pointing fingers at Vaishnavi's character. Tulsi says she cannot stop Rio from marrying Vaishnavi, only for Nandini to remind her that Parth's heart is broken.

Nandini's anger explodes

Damini tells Nandini to stop the drama and reminds her of the old history of brothers swapping wives and says that she too is part of that history.

Nandini gets angry and slaps Damini, prompting Nakul to react in shock. Nandini gets blamed for the trouble. Niyati sends Vaishnavi to rest and is impressed with Rio's plan, while he vows to teach Nandini a lesson.

The family threatens to break apart

Parth is upset and starts hitting the wall, thinking everything is finished. Gautam and Damini decide not to stay in the house and Tulsi comes to stop them. She tells Gautam not to drag this matter further, but he reminds her that Damini is the elder daughter-in-law, but Nandini humiliated her.

Tulsi asks him to let her handle it. Gautam tells Tulsi he will not forget this slap. Tulsi admits to Damini that Nandini shouldn't have slapped her but tells her that leaving the house was not the solution.

Nandini then tells Damini that it won't happen again, apologises, and asks for forgiveness. She accepts her fault and is ready for the punishment. But, Damini agrees to forgive her and then slaps her back. Damini tells Tulsi she has forgiven Nandini, but stops her when she tries to talk to her.

Tulsi reminds her she started first, but Nandini tells her what Damini said to her and they both begin to think about what is happening in the house.

Rio's hidden evil plans

Niyati asks Rio to choose a dress for Vaishnavi, but Rio wants a simple marriage. When she tells him that he is her only son, Rio reminds her that Parth is not his enemy, so he doesn't want to hurt him. Tulsi is impressed with Rio's thoughts and suggests a simple engagement. Tulsi thinks Rio will keep Vaishnavi happy.

Rio enquires about Mihir attending the engagement, but Tulsi tells him that he will come for the wedding. Niyati, watching the drama unfold, is impressed with Rio's acting. He then tells her they will have to act smart and reveals that Tulsi was the one who killed his father, and reveals his plans for revenge.

The heartbreaking ring ceremony

Vaishnavi gets ready, and Niyati brings her down. Nakul sits with Rio and Parth walks past them. Nandini and Samaira watch on.

Rio asks Vaishnavi to give him her hand.Niyati asks for permission to start the ring ceremony, but Parth doesn't have the courage to face Vaishnavi. Vaishnavi then takes the ring and Tulsi asks her to exchange it. Parth then leaves the ring ceremony, and tears fill Vaishnavi's eyes. Niyati calls the photographer to take their pictures and shows her happiness to Tulsi. Parth thinks about Vaishnavi and tries to pull off his ring.Vaishnavi asks Parth why he is keeping the ring when he doesn't want to be with her and tells him that it is good that they are moving on in their lives.
