Tulsi faces a tumultuous decision as she contemplates a return to Shanti Niketan, haunted by old wounds despite Mihir's insistence. Across town, tensions flare between Ritik and Mitali as they battle for their daughter’s custody, with Ritik's dark secrets about Munni documented and hanging over him.
The episode begins with Karan talking to Tulsi about her return to Shanti Niketan. While he asks his mother why she does not wish to return home, Nandini praises her for taking the right decision and for thinking about herself for once.
Mihir also says that while he respects Tulsi’s decision, he will not stop trying to bring her back to Shanti Niketan.
Ritik and Mitali meet up
Meanwhile, the scene shifts to Mitali and Ritik meeting up after their divorce. The two meet up to talk about their daughter Timsi. Mitalli says she wants full custody of their daughter, but Ritik refuses and then tells her she does not actually care about their daughter. While they talk, Mitali also brings up Munni’s topic.
Ritik lies about the situation and tells her that he is marrying Munni only because he needs someone to help with Timsi, unaware that Mitali has recorded everything.The scene shifts, showing Vrinda worried about her children going down the wrong path. While Angad tries to reassure her, she breaks down and says that she is worried that they will be spoiled by their life at Shanti Niketan, and that they will grow up to be bad parents.
Pari and Ajay also meet
In another scene, Pari and Ajay also meet up. Pari asks Ajay why he continues to treat her with so much respect even after everything. Ajay tells her that it is because he knows that Pari has changed into a better person over the past few weeks. Pari breaks down and expresses her worry about Garima and how she is not a good mother; however, Ajay reassures her and tells her there is nothing to worry about. The episode comes to an end with Nandini and Karan going to Tulsi’s home in the chawl and talking to her about Shanti Niketan. Tulsi says that although Mihir and Noina did not do anything, the latter still took her place for the past 6 years. She mentions that Mihir did not come looking for her once, which hurt her. She still refuses to return to Shanti Niketan and adds that she has moved on from that life.
