'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' written update 29th March: Ritik wins Timsi's custody as Tulsi learns Noina's heartbreaking last wish

'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' opens with Mihir moved by Gautam's heartfelt speech about parents in court, and quietly, indirectly, asking him to stay. The judge delivers her verdict: while a child needs a mother most, Mitali has failed to prove herself as one, and full custody of Timsi is awarded to Ritik.

The Viranis celebrate. Ritik thanks Gautam with genuine emotion, and Mihir tells him he has saved the family from falling apart.

A homecoming nobody expected

Before the relief can settle, Mihir gets a call and gathers everyone to bring them home for a surprise. Gautam walks in to find Damini and Nakul waiting for him. The reunion is warm and overwhelming. Damini tells Gautam they are back in Shantiniketan, that they want to be with the family, and that all it took was one phone call.

Nakul tells Gautam the surprise is not really for him: it is Dadu's gift to Dadi maa. Mihir asks Gautam to come home for his mother's sake.

Gautam agrees.Tulsi returns to Shantiniketan and is welcomed with an aarti. Gayatri tells her she is everything this house stands on. Nandini says she has saved the home. Everyone assures Tulsi that things are fine. Then Tulsi sees Nakul and Damini walking toward her and breaks down completely.

She asks for Gautam. Damini tells her he has stepped out for some work, but they are staying. Sobha asks Tulsi to order food, but Tulsi insists on cooking Gujarati food herself for the family reunion.

She places her papers beside Thakur ji and thanks him quietly for protecting the honour of Baa and Bapu ji.

Tulsi discovers Noina's secret

While in the kitchen, Tulsi gets a small injury and goes to the doctor. At the hospital, she sees Noina coughing with blood on her hands.

Suchi tells her the truth: Noina has blood cancer and has less than two months to live. She is refusing chemotherapy. Noina tells Tulsi she is not doing drama, that she is getting punished for her sins, and that she deserves this. Tulsi tells her she has every reason to hate her, but cannot bring herself to curse her.

Noina apologises. When Tulsi asks what she can do for her, Noina says she has one last wish, one she believes only Tulsi can fulfil.

Tulsi tells her she will try whatever is within her power and leaves. She walks out with tears she cannot stop.

Ram Navami becomes the cover for a factory scam

At the Virani factory, while Angad and Vrinda are dressed as Ram and Sita for the Ram Navami jhaki, Dada sends Nandu to the factory to keep watch. Nandu finds the gate locked and sees men from the jhaki now moving around inside the factory, which immediately raises his suspicion. He calls Dada and is told to go in and investigate.

Nandu disguises himself with festival colours and walks his way inside. He finds Thakur in the middle of stealing a consignment, but before he can do anything, he is attacked from behind and knocked out.

Thakur panics and orders his men to make Nandu disappear.The jhaki then unexpectedly enters the factory premises. Vrinda and Angad step down, with Vrinda saying she wants Ram ji's blessings on the factory floor. Dada is impressed.

Bharti watches Vrinda with jealousy. Vrinda spots suspicious boxes near the back gate and asks Dada about them. Mangal is already loading them onto a van. Thakur's plan begins to unravel.Everyone finds Nandu collapsed inside and brings him in. When he regains consciousness, he tells them about the scam but admits he did not see who was directly involved. Thakur immediately uses this gap to create doubt in everyone's mind. He and Dada get into a heated argument. Dada tells Thakur plainly that his own men are behind the theft. The confrontation ends the episode on an unresolved tension that points directly at Thakur.Precap: Tulsi tells Mihir about Noina's last wish and asks him to marry Noina before she dies.
