Bengaluru police have booked the owner of a Lamborghini after the luxury car was caught performing a high-speed drifting stunt at Anil Kumble Circle on MG Road in the early hours of the morning.

According to officials, the incident took place between 2 am and 3 am, when the vehicle was seen drifting dangerously at the busy junction, effectively turning it into a stunt arena and putting other road users at risk. The act was captured on surveillance cameras and was also witnessed by several commuters passing through the area.

Based on the car’s registration number, Cubbon Park police have registered an FIR against the vehicle’s owner. Taking serious note of the reckless driving, officers have booked a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Motor Vehicles Act.

Police said an investigation is underway to determine who was actually driving the car at the time of the incident. Authorities are examining whether the registered owner was behind the wheel, and have stated that further action will be taken once this is established.

An 11-second video of the stunt has since gone viral on social media, showing the Lamborghini drifting at the junction as onlookers cheer, before the car speeds away from the spot.
