Indian agencies are monitoring a move by the Pakistan Army to shift the headquarters of Lashkar-e-Toiba and its offshoot, The Resistance Front (TRF), from Muridke to Bahawalpur, according to sources. According to an exclusive dossier obtained by India Today, this co-location of the two terror organisations is a strategic attempt to shield them from global scrutiny. The move is viewed as part of ISI's disinformation and hybrid warfare strategy to portray foreign-sponsored terrorism as a local resistance movement. The TRF, an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Toiba, is noted for targeting civilians, such as in the Pahalgam attack on tourists. The group reportedly uses an elite unit called the Falcon squad, trained by Pakistan's special forces, and employs modern technology in its operations.
