 VIDARBHARANG 2026 SET TO CLOSE

Art lovers at Vidarbharang 2026 at Rangayan Gallery, Chitnavis Centre

Nagpur: Art lovers have one final chance to experience Vidarbharang 2026, a four-day exhibition of landscape paintings and photographs by 15 Nagpur-based artists, as the programme concludes on Sunday at Rangayan Gallery, Chitnavis Centre, Civil Lines.Organised by the Nagpur Watercolour Society in collaboration with Chitnavis Centre, the exhibition has attracted over 500 visitors since it opened on Thursday. The showcase features watercolour landscapes and fine photographs celebrating the natural beauty and artistic heritage of the Vidarbha region.A special live watercolour landscape painting session, Rangsamvad, will be held at 7.30am on the Chitnavis Centre premises on Sunday.

Visitors will have the opportunity to watch artists paint live, learn about their techniques and interact with them.Organiser Shirish Mulmuley said that, like the Nagpur Watercolour Society’s weekly Sunday plain-air painting sessions, *Rangsamvad* has brought together artists from various painting groups across the city. He added that people interested in painting are also welcome to participate and interact with the artists.

The exhibition will remain open from 11am to 9pm on Sunday. Organisers have appealed to art enthusiasts, students and families to make the most of the final day.The exhibition features works by Dilip Bhalerao, Vijay Ansingkar, Girish Tol, Sunil Puranik, Jayant Ashtankar, Nitin Patil, Krishna Padhye, Rajesh Mankar, Shirish Mulmuley, Ram Thombre, Vaibhav Chalane, Vinod Bitpalliwar, Junaid Sheikh, Karan Kawade and Vedant Padhye.Members of the Nagpur Watercolour Society have been meeting every Sunday for nearly two decades for plain-air landscape painting sessions, nurturing a shared passion for capturing nature through watercolours.Following the success of last year’s edition, organisers said *Vidarbharang 2026* has continued to draw an enthusiastic response from visitors across the city.
