‘Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment 3' cooks up a special birthday celebration for Harpal Singh Sokhi; Chef says 'We have built a bond here that goes beyond the show'

The one who sets the benchmark is finally made to meet it. On ‘Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment’, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi walks into what he thinks is just another day on set, only to be caught off guard by a birthday surprise that quickly flips the script on him.

With Krushna and Aly stepping in to take charge, the chef is no longer calling the shots, he’s following them. It turns into a full-circle moment as Harpal faces the same standards he sets for others. From making a perfect kadak chai with a hint of elaichi and the right sweetness to getting every detail right in the knotty rolls, he is seen following every detail. But what truly makes this birthday surprise special is how it takes Harpal right back to the basics of cooking.

Stepping completely out of his comfort zone, he finds himself at a pottery wheel, shaping his own kullad from scratch, and then making chai on an iron, with no gas stove in sight. What follows is equal parts chaos and charm, as the kitchen turns into a playground, with everyone pulling his leg, teasing him nonstop, and thoroughly enjoying seeing the chef switch sides for a change.

It all wraps up with a celebration that feels warm, fun, and totally well deserved.

Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi shares, “This has to be one of my most memorable birthdays, because I got to celebrate it with my Laughter Chefs family. The way I have been pushing everyone to complete their challenge and get every detail right, this time they turned it on me. From sitting on the pottery wheel and shaping my own kullad to making chai on an iron, it really took me back to the basics of cooking, where it’s all about instinct, patience, and heart.

Everyone was pulling my leg, enjoying the situation, but there was so much affection in it. We have built a bond here that goes beyond the show, so celebrating my birthday in the middle of all this, with people who genuinely feel like family, made it incredibly special.”
