Lewis Hamilton is back with vengeance and it seems there won’t be any looking back for the seven-time world champion this season. Hamilton had a disappointing maiden year after switching to Ferrari last year but the Briton has claimed he would be doing what he does best - excelling on the track this year amid the new F1 regulations.

Before hitting the track at the season opener in Melbourne, Hamilton has shared a bunch of videos from his fitness regime these days to prove that he is going to be his fittest self this season.

Lewis Hamilton ramps up training ahead of 2026 F1 season

Lewis Hamilton shared multiple videos from his workout session on Instagram, showing him running and doing Pilates. He wrote along with them: “This is the most I’ve ever trained between seasons. I’m pushing hard every day to show up stronger than ever this year.

With lifting, cardio, flexibility and strength training, everything is about progress and endurance and going further than the day before. See you soon, Melbourne.

Hamilton’s fans were mighty impressed with his fitness regime. “Forza Lewis! This is your year,” cheered a fan. “Number 8 on the way,” said another. One more said: “Consistency. Discipline. Excellence. Melbourne awaits @lewishamilton Let’s go Lewis.”

Commenting on the difficulty level of the third exercise, a fan even wrote: “My arm hurt when I watched the 3rd. You definitely got this boss.”

Lewis Hamilton sets the mood for the new F1 season

Lewis Hamilton had a fantastic testing session in Barcelona where he recorded the fastest lap time with Ferrari. He and his teammate Charles Leclerc had a good run in their new Ferrari as F1 undergo an overhauling under new regulations. Lewis Hamilton also penned an introspective post on Instagram post amid countdown to the new season.

Sharing his love for racing, he wrote: “I love this job so much and I love working with my team and driving for the fans. I’m incredibly lucky to be able to do what I do, and I’m excited for the season ahead. I’m re-set and refreshed. I’m not going anywhere, so stick with me. For a moment, I forgot who I was, but thanks to you and your support you’re not going to see that mindset again.

I know what needs to be done. This is going to be one hell of a season. I’ve given everything to be here today. Let’s go team!!!” Last year, Hamilton topped the sprint but couldn’t win a grand prix or a podium. This year, the F1 cars have become shorter, lighter and narrower with a hybrid setup, partial combustion and partial electric powertrain. The 2026 F1 season begins with the Australian Grand Prix on March 8.
