That small moment showed both strength and reality at the same time.Earlier, reports said her leg injury was very serious after the crash in the women’s downhill final. She clipped the second gate just seconds into her run and fell hard.

Medical staff rushed to her, and she was taken away on a stretcher before being flown to the hospital by helicopter.Since then, she has had four surgeries in Italy and one more in the United States. According to reports, her latest surgery lasted around six hours. Doctors worked to rebuild her leg and protect the skin to avoid infection.
