Medical tests later confirmed that the veteran forward is dealing with muscle fatigue in his left hamstring.Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni has now shared an update on Messi’s condition. While the coach admitted that the team is worried, he also suggested the first medical reports were not very serious. Scaloni explained that the medical staff will continue monitoring Messi’s recovery before making any final decision.
Argentina are also facing several injury problems within the squad, making preparations difficult before the global tournament begins in North America this summer.
