'Liquor scam' probe: Ex-YSRCP MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy arrested in Bengaluru

A former legislator and close aide of Andhra Pradesh ex-chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy was arrested on Wednesday by Special Investigation Team (SIT) officials while attempting to fly to Colombo.Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, who represented the Chandragiri constituency and held key positions in the previous YSRCP government, was arrested at the airport alongside co-accused Venkatesh Naidu.Both individuals were transported to Vijayawada for questioning in connection with a case being probed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). Officials said the two are expected to be produced before the ACB court later on Thursday.
