New Delhi: Under its newly introduced two-board examination system, CBSE is now moving to the step of finalising the list of candidates (LOC) who wish to appear for the second Boards.Through a notification, the board has outlined the schedule for LOC submission and payment of examination fees.
As per the schedule, the first phase of examination fee payment will be open from April 16 (around noon) to April 20.
During the same window, candidates can also complete LOC submission and fee payment under the second phase. A final opportunity with late fees will be provided from April 21 to April 22.The board has also issued key instructions for candidates. Students who wish to appear in the second board examination but could not submit their names during the first phase of LOC can now register and pay the examination fee.
Those who had already submitted their names earlier are required to complete the fee payment within the stipulated timeline.Candidates who no longer wish to appear in the second board examination have the option to withdraw their names. In addition, CBSE has allowed flexibility in subject choices, particularly in mathematics. Students who had opted for mathematics (standard) in the main examination may switch to mathematics (basic) for the second attempt. The notification is aimed at streamlining the process and ensuring that all eligible candidates are able to avail themselves of the opportunity provided under the two-board system.
