Lock Upp 2: Dheeraj Dhoopar's battlefield survival leaves son Zayn emotional; wife Vinny says 'I wasn't expecting Zayn to be so affected'

The latest episode of Lock Upp season 2 turned into nothing short of a battlefield as contestants competed against each other in an intense shooting task. The challenge had everyone on the edge of their seats and brought an emotional moment for Dheeraj's family.

Dheeraj's son Zayn, who was watching the task couldn't hold back his emotions. After seeing his father get hit by a bullet he got emotional.The competition inside the Lock Upp house has officially started and the contestants are all set to fight for their survival. Dheeraj Dhoopar, made a grand entry in Episode 1 in his signature style and instantly grabbed everyone's attention. Adding another twist to the episode, Dheeraj even attempted to escape from the Lock Upp house, only to be stopped by Farah Khan, who bluntly reminded him that he would not receive any special footage if that was what he was expecting.

As if that wasn't enough, Dheeraj was tagged as being ‘overrated.’ When asked point-blank whether he accepted the tag, the actor didn't mince his words and refused outright, making it clear that he wasn't about to let the label define him.Being Day 1, the inmates were introduced to the rules of the game. All 15 contestants were allotted a total of ₹1,00,000, which they must collectively manage as their ‘kharcha-pani.’

All this and extra comforts will have to be purchased from the digital canteen, making every decision and every rupee count.Then came the biggest revelation of the evening: the winner's prize money was revealed to be a whopping ₹1 crore, instantly raising the stakes inside the Lock Upp house.The episode soon was more of a battlefield as contestants participated in a high-intensity shooting game, where two inmates managed to eliminate the other 13.

Interestingly, taking down Dheeraj proved to be no easy task. It looks like the actor played plenty of games in his childhood and kept everyone on their toes. Our dapper managed to dodge the shooter several times with his clever moves, leaving everyone impressed.

His gameplay caught Ritesh's attention, who couldn't help calling him ‘smart’ for the way he escaped the attacks time and again.Speaking about it Vinny says "We all were watching the episode together and having loads of fun watching Dheeraj perform the task.

Suddenly when Dheeraj got shot, Zayn got really emotional. He felt sad because his father got hit by a bullet and lost the task. As all sat and complained, Dheeraj added fuel to the fire by joking that the kitchen must have added extra water to stretch food meant for four people into a meal for six. His comment intensified the frustration as hungry inmates became even more upset over the watery meal.
