Actor Ram Kapoor recently opened up about his personal life and reflected on his dating days before marriage. During his appearance on Lock Upp 2, the actor candidly admitted that he had been in several relationships before settling down with wife Gautami Kapoor.The topic came up when fellow contestant Shreya Kalra asked him about his past relationships. Ram first made it clear that he has remained committed since getting married, saying, “After marriage, not a single one.” When the conversation shifted to his life before marriage, he admitted, “Before? I was a playboy.”As the discussion continued, Shreya asked him how many relationships he had been in. Ram replied with a smile, “Can’t count.”

He then shared an incident from the time he and Gautami decided to get married.Recalling the moment, Ram said, “Okay I’ll tell you honestly. When everyone came to know that Gautami and Ram are getting married, Ekta, who is my friend, she called Gautami Kapoor and told her, ‘What are you doing? He’s had so many affairs. What are you doing?’ Ekta was worried for her. And I acknowledge that what Ekta did was right because I was that man.”

His candid confession quickly became a talking point among viewers, with many appreciating his honesty and the way he acknowledged his past without hesitation. The couple first met on the sets of Ghar Ek Mandir in 2000. After dating for several years, they got married on February 14, 2003.
