The worlds of professional football and boxing are on a beef mode. On the latest episode of the IMPAULSIVE podcast, YouTuber-turned-WWE star Logan Paul escalated his growing feud with the NFL by offering a staggering $1 million to any football player who can beat him in a boxing match.
Logan Paul vs. Myles Garrett? WWE Star Claims He Would "Throttle" Browns Defender
The bold declaration wasn't just general trash talk, Paul took aim at some of the league's most feared athletes."I would throttle Myles Garrett," Paul stated, staring directly into the camera. "Come to the gym and let’s see how it goes. Not a single football player could beat me in a boxing match. There's levels to this."
The tension reached a breaking point following a viral exchange with Tom Brady. While the two initially shared respectful banter regarding their respective sports, the tone shifted after Brady dismissed Paul’s WWE career as “cute.”
The rivalry turned "nuclear" this week when a training video surfaced showing Brady and Rob Gronkowski warming up. In the clip, Brady explicitly called Paul a "b***h" and challenged him to "play with the big boys," mocking the influencer's athletic credentials.
While many expected the NFL to ignore the bait, Buffalo Bills Pro Bowl offensive tackle Dion Dawkins was the first to officially call the bluff. The 6'5", 320-pound lineman, known to fans as "The Shnowman" responded on social media with a simple: "Sure sure why not."
Former All-Pro running back Le’Veon Bell, who holds a 4-1 record in professional and exhibition boxing, also challenged Paul to stop "ducking" him. Bell proposed a fight for NFL Draft weekend in Pittsburgh this April, though Paul has expressed hesitation, claiming Bell isn't a "big enough draw."The debate has divided sports fans. On one side, Paul has years of dedicated boxing training and ring experience against the likes of Floyd Mayweather.
On the other, athletes like Myles Garrett, who recently set the NFL single-season sack record, possess a level of explosive power and size that is rarely seen in the boxing world. The timing of the challenge is no coincidence. Both Paul and Garrett are scheduled to appear at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic on March 21. While the event was originally set for Saudi Arabia, recent reports suggest it may move to the U.S. due to regional travel restrictions.Whether this remains a podcast stunt or turns into a million-dollar sanctioned bout, Logan Paul has successfully ensured that every eyes in the NFL locker room is now on him.
