As they could not deliberate, the safe Islanders stood behind the person they wanted to be safe with.

Fans express their concerns

In the move that sparked online backlash, Jaden, Gracyn, Andreina, TJ, and Austin were eliminated, making Taylor safe. Throughout the season, the fans have criticized how the eliminations have been handled by the Islanders. Despite the calls from fans to get certain contestants removed, including Taylor, Ace, and Cierra, they have stayed in the villa, and the ones who were beloved since the beginning, including Jeremiah and Hannah, were sent home. Particularly, the fans are upset about the elimination of the aforementioned five contestants, who were hailed for being entertaining and genuine throughout the game. The viewers have voiced their concerns about the constant disconnect between the participants and them. Post eliminations, the recoupling has left Bryan, Iris, and Pepe single, as Bryan and Pepe have vocalised their disinterest in their previous partners. Bryan shared that he wanted to explore his time with Jaden, and Pepe stated that he was thinking about Hannah even after she left.
