New Delhi: Apple has officially delisted the Mac Pro from its official website, and it has been reported that Apple has officially discontinued the model. They have discontinued their most iconic Mac Pro lineup. Apple’s product page for the Mac Pro now also redirects to the main Mac page.

Apple has also confirmed that it does not plan to release any of the latest Mac Pro hardware in the future. Apple has formally ended its Mac Pro lineup without any official announcing a replacement.

The desktop, which was last upgraded in June 2023 with the M2 Ultra chip, had not received any updates since, even as the latest Apple silicon chips were unveiled across the other Mac devices. Mac Studio is now positioned as Apple’s primary desktop for professional users.

The current Mac Studio is powered by the M3 Ultra and M4 Max chips; the company might upgrade the model with the latest chips.

Apple is also expected to introduce its M5-series chip variants of the Mac Studio within the first half of the year. This latest model will likely feature M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips, potentially bringing back the Ultra variant that was absent in the M4 generation.

With the Mac Pro discontinued, Apple’s desktop lineup now includes the iMac, Mac mini, and Mac Studio. The company has also continued to offer MacBook Neo, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro.
