Vijayawada: BJP AP state president PVN Madhav on Thursday called upon party workers to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level and work towards ensuring that the BJP has elected representatives in every village across the state.

Addressing a atate-level workshop on the “Mana Ooru – Mana Jenda” campaign at the BJP office in Vijayawada, Madhav said every party worker should aspire to become a public representative, whether as a ward member, sarpanch, MPTC, ZPTC or a member of a cooperative society.Addressing the workshop, Madhav said the BJP had emerged as the largest political party in the country by forming governments in 21 states and asserted that its governance model and organisational practices were being emulated by other political parties.Referring to PM Narendra Modi’s political journey, he said Modi had risen through the ranks of the organisation through dedication and hard work and had demonstrated that sustained development, rather than political expediency, was the key to lasting public support.Emphasising the BJP’s ideological commitment to Antyodaya, Madhav said the benefits of development should reach the last person in society. He urged party workers to take the Centre’s welfare and development initiatives to the people and work towards hoisting the BJP flag in every village while upholding the party’s values of inclusive development, social harmony and value-based politics.

The workshop was attended by BJP state general secretaries Matta Prasad and Ramesh Naidu, state Kisan Morcha president Kumaraswamy, state vice-presidents Bitra Siva Narayana, Sandi Reddy Srinivas and Kola Anand. On the occasion, BJP leaders felicitated Madhav for completing one year as AP BJP chief.
