Madhya Pradesh Man Travels 100 Km To Meet Facebook Friend, Tied & Beaten Up By Her Family

A man was tied and beaten for 13 hours by a girl's family. He travelled from Rewa to Piprahi village in Mauganj to meet the girl, but he was caught by her family.

In a disturbing case reported from a Madhya Pradesh’s village, a man was tied and beaten for several hours by the family members of the girl he befriended on Facebook. As per the police, the man travelled 100 kms to meet the girl on Saturday.

The man from Rewa went to Piprahi village in Mauganj to meet the girl, but he was caught by her family. As per a report by NDTV, girl’s family started hitting the man at around 9 pm on Saturday and continued until 10 am on Sunday.

The brutal assault, lasted for around 13 hours, was video recorded and widely circulated on social media.

As per the police, the girl is a minor and the man became friends with her on Facebook. As of now, no formal complaint has been registered at the Hanumana police station, the police official added.
