A shocking crime has been reported from Nanded in Maharashtra, where a father allegedly killed his six-year-old daughter in order to contest the sarpanch election.

As per the election rules, only a person with two children can contest the election. A father with more than two children is not allowed to stand for the post.

The accused had three children. To become eligible to contest the election, he allegedly killed one of his daughters.

According to the police, the father threw the six-year-old girl into a canal, which led to her death. The child’s body was later found in Telangana.

Police investigation

During the investigation, Telangana Police found that the girl had been killed by her father. The police have taken the father into custody.
