'Mahavatar Narsimha' box office collection day 35: Ashwin Kumar's mythological film holds well; crosses Rs 230 crore mark

Ashwin Kumar's 'Mahavatar Narsimha' is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. Even after 35 days in theaters, the film continues to generate strong box office numbers, contributing to its impressive total.On day 35, the film minted approximately Rs 1.15 crore, taking its overall collection to a whopping Rs 238.25 crore.According to the Sacnilk website, the fifth week's collections have remained consistent despite new releases. On its 5th Sunday (Day 31), the film collected Rs 6.15 crore, followed by Rs 1.35 crore on Monday, Rs 1.75 crore on Tuesday, and Rs 2.25 crore on Wednesday. Thursday’s early estimates stood at Rs 1.15 crore.

Theatre occupancy

When it comes to occupancy, the Hindi 2D version recorded an overall 7.21% on Day 35. The film registered 4.96% in morning shows, 7.50% in the afternoon, 6.19% in the evening, and picked up slightly with 10.20% during night shows.Meanwhile, the Hindi 3D version performed better, with an overall occupancy of 7.95%. Morning shows stood at 6.71%, afternoons at 7.57%, evenings at 9.20%, and night shows maintained a strong 8.30%.

The Telugu version had the highest occupancy, standing at 9.54% overall. Morning shows saw 8.02%, afternoons 9.91%, evenings 10.38%, and nights 9.85%. The strong response from Telugu audiences has been a major driving force in sustaining the film's box office run.
