A male tiger suspected to be behind the death of a teenager in Madhya Pradesh’s Seoni Friday afternoon was successfully tracked and captured, wildlife officials have said. The five-year-old tiger is suspected to have mauled 18-year-old Sumit Pandre from Bawanthadi village.
Officials said the tiger was spotted in the forests 15 km from the village at 11.30 am Saturday and was eventually sedated. Three elephants at Pench Tiger reserve were used in the operation.
