Following the prestigious recognition, the makers unveiled a special poster featuring Mammootty, offering fans their first glimpse of his character from the much-anticipated project.

Director Rajkumar Periyasamy took to social media to celebrate the actor’s achievement after he received the Padma Bhushan from President Droupadi Murmu during an investiture ceremony held on June 23. Sharing his excitement, the filmmaker wrote, "Hearty Congratulations to our very own Mammukka on being conferred upon with The Prestigious Padma Bhushan award for his exceptional contribution to the Indian Cinema for more than 5 decades.

"The congratulatory message was accompanied by a new poster that subtly teased Mammootty’s appearance in 'Om', further raising anticipation surrounding the film.

Director hints at Mammootty’s grand entry

Along with honouring the legendary actor, Rajkumar Periyasamy also teased audiences about what lies ahead in the film. In his post, he added, "Now wait for Ikka’s entry from Om. It will be worth all your wait!"While the makers have remained tight-lipped about Mammootty’s role, the latest reveal has fuelled curiosity among fans eager to see the Malayalam superstar on screen in the ambitious project.
