Man arrested for sexually assaulting dog in Mumbai's Kandivali East

MUMBAI: A 40-year-old man has been arrested by Samta Nagar Police for sexually assaulting a female dog in Kandivali East. The complaint was lodged by a social worker.According to the FIR, the social worker was returning to her Kandivali East residence from her uncle's home on 1 February when she noticed a group of people gathered near a drain by Lokhandwala Complex. On approaching, she found the accused lying in the drain with a female dog that was yelping in pain. The dog had suffered injuries to its private parts. The social worker rushed the animal to Parel Animal Hospital, where it was treated.
