A major fire broke out at Vishal Mega Mart in Delhi's Karol Bagh due to a suspected short circuit.
A man died in a fire that broke out late last evening at Vishal Mega Mart in Karol Bagh. According to the fire department, the man died after getting trapped in the lift.
Six out of the 13 fire tenders are currently on the spot as the cooling process is still underway.

Goods worth lakhs of rupees were destroyed as a result.
Thirteen fire tenders were rushed to the location as the fire was finally doused at around 9 pm. Delhi Police personnel were also present at the scene and assisted in the firefighting efforts.
In a similar incident, a fire broke out at the AIIMS Trauma Centre in Delhi on Thursday afternoon after a blast in an electric transformer, causing panic in the area. No injuries have been reported so far.
The blaze erupted in a 33,000-volt electric transformer located within the Trauma Centre premises. Fire officials received the alert around 3:35 pm and eight fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the site. There were no casualties reported in the incident.
