Man kills wife in Nandyal

A woman was allegedly killed by her husband following an argument over the former driving the family into debts, on the early hours of Tuesday at NGOs Colony in Nandyal town.

The deceased Sirisha (42) was a real estate agent, while her husband Sainath Sharma works as a priest in the local temple. Sirisha had reportedly incurred a debt of nearly ₹50 lakh from relatives and friends. The couple used to frequently quarrel over the same and on Tuesday, Sharma slit his wife’s throat leading to her death. Sharma surrendered before the Nandyal II Town police station.
