Man lured to dinner, beaten & robbed of car

A listed criminal and his three accomplices allegedly assaulted a 27-year-old man after luring him to a late-night dinner and then robbed him of his car near Manuabhan Ki Tekri under Koh-e-Fiza police limits in the early hours of Friday.

The accused later allegedly demanded Rs 3 lakh to return the vehicle.Koh-e-Fiza police registered a robbery case and arrested one accused, who has been sent to police custody. The remaining accused are absconding. The complainant, Sourabh Sitlani, said he was attacked after being asked to stop near the spot on his way back from dinner.
