Man swept away while crossing culvert on bike

Times News NetworkUjjain: A 48-year-old man was swept away late Thursday evening while crossing an overflowing culvert on his motorcycle.The man was identified as Suryapratap Singh Sonagra, assistant secretary of Gavdi Lodha gram panchayat. Police and villagers launched a search soon after, and by 2 am, Sonagra’s motorcycle was found 200 metres from the spot where he was washed away.Ingoria police station in charge Deepesh Vyas said that an SDRF team from Barnagar and a rescue team from Ujjain continued the search through Friday without success.
