Founder-president of Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) Manda Krishna has urged Dalit Christians to build political awareness and unite against caste discrimination, warning that decades of loyalty to the Congress party have not yielded justice.

Addressing a round table conference on issues concerning the Dalit Christians in wake of the Supreme Court verdict recently organised by All Indian Christian Federation (AICF) here at YMCA, Secunderabad, Mr. Manda Krishna accused the Congress of betraying the community by introducing the 1950 Presidential Order, which excluded Dalit Christians from Scheduled Caste benefits.
