, the new Escudo is expected to offer buyers a more spacious alternative to the Brezza while keeping prices more competitive than Nexa’s Grand Vitara.On the design front, spy images suggest that the Escudo borrows heavily from the Grand Vitara but with subtle tweaks to its dimensions. Reports indicate that it may be slightly longer, translating into better interior space and possibly even a three-row seating option in higher trims.

Inside, the SUV is likely to feature a nine-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a semi-digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, and sunroof.Under the hood, the upcoming SUV is expected to carry forward the tried-and-tested 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol mild-hybrid engine, producing 103 bhp, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
