Jaclyn Cordeiro, the girlfriend of former New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, caught attention on social media this week with a new fitness post. On Wednesday, the 46 year old fitness coach and professional bodybuilder shared a photo on her Instagram story showing her toned abs while standing in the sun.
Along with the image, she posted a short message about the effort behind her fitness journey. In the picture, Jaclyn Cordeiro appeared relaxed but confident as she showed the results of her long training routine. She also added a motivational caption that reflected her mindset about staying healthy and active as she grows older. “Consistency, discipline and hard work, this is 46 years young,” she wrote in the Instagram story. Later the same day, Cordeiro also appeared at the Minnesota Timberwolves’ NBA game against the Los Angeles Clippers at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
The Timberwolves, the team Alex Rodriguez co owns, lost the game 153 to 128. The defeat marked the team’s third straight loss in the league.
Alex Rodriguez and Jaclyn Cordeiro continue public appearances as former Yankees star talks about future Minnesota Timberwolves arena
Jaclyn Cordeiro has often been seen supporting Alex Rodriguez during major basketball events involving the Minnesota Timberwolves. Earlier in 2026, she attended the NBA All Star Game at the same venue with Rodriguez. During that event, she also showed support for Timberwolves shooting guard Anthony Edwards.
Rodriguez, who built a huge fortune during his baseball career and later through business deals and broadcasting, is estimated to have a net worth of around $350 million. The former New York Yankees star is now focused on ownership and investments, including his stake in the Timberwolves, which he runs with business partner Marc Lore.Anthony Edwards was playing in his fourth straight NBA All Star Game at the time and ended the night with a major achievement.
He was named the All Star Game’s Most Valuable Player, which became one of the highlights of the event. While Cordeiro has been sharing moments from her fitness life online, Alex Rodriguez has been speaking publicly about the future of the Minnesota Timberwolves. In 2024, Rodriguez and his business partner Marc Lore won an arbitration ruling that allowed them to move forward with the purchase of the Minnesota Timberwolves and the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx.Since then, Rodriguez has been talking about plans for a new arena for the Timberwolves. However, he has made it clear that he does not want the team to leave Minneapolis.“We want to keep it in Minneapolis, downtown,” Rodriguez said while discussing the project. “Back in the day, it was really a vanity or a luxury to have a new arena. Today it’s a necessity.” Rodriguez explained that a modern arena helps teams grow financially and improve the experience for fans.“It helps drive revenue. It helps with better hospitality, better fan experience. The other part is the more revenue the team makes, the more we’re able to turn around and deploy more capital and resources into the team, personnel, etcetera,” he said. The former Yankees star also shared that the project could take several years to complete.“We’re really energized. I think it’s a five to seven year project. We want to keep it in Minnesota. We want to keep it in Minneapolis, downtown, and really continue to energize the great fan base,” Rodriguez added. As Rodriguez continues building plans for the Timberwolves’ future, Jaclyn Cordeiro remains active both in the fitness world and in supporting the team at major events.
