Bengaluru on Monday recorded one of the hottest days of this summer season as the maximum temperature crossed the 36 degrees Celsius mark.

According to India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) local forecast for Bengaluru city issued at 5.30 p.m., the city station recorded a maximum temperature of 35.6° C and a minimum temperature of 24.2° C. The Kempegowda International Airport’s (KIA) weather station recorded a maximum of 36.1° C and a minimum temperature of 22.7° C and the HAL Airport recorded a maximum of 36.5°C and and a minimum 22.6° C.
