Apparently, one superteam isn’t enough.

Inter Miami CF, already headlined by Lionel Messi, are now eyeing another marquee addition — the Argentine’s rival from the past and former Real Madrid stalwart Casemiro.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter Miami have already submitted an initial proposal to the now Manchester United man’s camp as they look to add experience to their midfield.

This is believed to be part of Javier Mascherano’s bigger plan to bring in a proven veteran who can dictate play, break up attacks, and add balance to a team that’s already heavy on star power.

Casemiro Sought After By Many

Clubs from the Saudi Pro League are circling, and let’s just say they don’t exactly struggle when it comes to offering eye-watering contracts.

And it is expected that the Brazilian’s tendency to take up any deal hinges heavily on finances.

Casemiro Confirms United Exit

One thing is certain: Casemiro’s time at Manchester United is coming to an end.

After four years at Old Trafford, including two domestic cup wins, the Brazilian is preparing for an emotional farewell.

“I am still enjoying it a lot [in Manchester]," Casemiro recently told The Athletic.

“I believe the announcement is now done. It is huge, the affection that the fans have shown towards me. But I do really believe the decision is made and done. I am enjoying myself right now. I believe it will be some difficult [emotional] moments, these [final] games at Manchester United."

And interestingly, this exit is set to be smooth and hassle-free.

Both Casemiro and United have worked together to avoid triggering a contract clause that would have extended his stay — and his hefty £350,000-a-week wages — by another year.

That has allowed current Red Devils boss Michael Carrick to freely select him for United’s outings this season without financial complications.
