As per the lawsuit Facebook is accused of selling user data to third-party partners in violation of privacy agreements. The lawsuit also mentions that the executives failed to divulge the risks and also removed the essential privacy disclosures. Meta also paid $5.1 billion to the FTC and $725 million to users in settlements. Shareholders now seek reimbursement from Zuckerberg, Sheryl Sandberg, and others.The eight-day trial of the lawsuit will witness testimony from Zuckerberg, Sandberg, board member Marc Andreessen, and former board member Peter Thiel.
