Though he has been unfailingly linked to several franchises after a rapid exit from his long-term franchise: the Miami Dolphins. The team released him in February, just days after Super Bowl LX.

For months into free agency, he was linked to teams like the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, and some more. However, none of them came to any fruition.
