He also delved into how much he loves running and how it has become a major part of his morning routine. He shared that he usually has to drag himself out of bed by 10 am in order to go for a long run, which he usually enjoys doing the most. He shared in the same interview that “People don't start. But once you start for some reason - your friends, your family, your wife, husband - and they say Come on, come on, you get into it”. He also has shared how he has no specific goal in mind; however, he usually covers 60-70 km in a week,
The first meal of the day
Milind Soman has shared that he starts his day by eating dry fruits.
He added that a couple of almonds, along with a glass of fresh fruit juice, are the best way to give your daily routine a healthy start. Other than juice, he has also expressed how much he loves eating fruit and will eat anything, such as bananas, mangoes, or any other item that is in season.
Yoga and home exercises
The model has shared earlier that he usually sticks to a minimum of a 15-minute exercise routine at his home every day in order to maintain his health.
He adds basic exercises such as a 4-minute-long plank, and he pairs that up with running and yoga when there is time left in his morning before he has to start with his work.He also added that sometimes in the middle of the day, he will do push-ups as well, most of the time going up to a 50 push-up count.
Breakfast and the staples
Soman has time and time again also expressed his love for the staple dal-khichdi food, and shares that even though he usually eats what is available, the everyday staple will always remain his go-to.
He also does not restrict himself or have “cheat days” in the week. He eats what he wants and maintains everything in his life accordingly.
Practicing mindfulness and discipline
Emphasising practising discipline in life, Milind Soman usually sticks to a few things to maintain his everyday routine and mindset. He has admitted that he usually avoids reading and consuming news from anywhere, and only opts to sometimes consume it from verified and official sources.
