Roads and Buildings (R&B) Minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy distributed CMRF cheques worth ₹59.42 lakhs to beneficiaries at his camp office in Banaganapalle on Saturday. The cheques were handed over to 60 beneficiaries who received medical treatment for their ailments.

After distributing the cheques, the Minister inquired about the current health status and well-being of the patients who received medical aid. On the occasion, Mr. Janardhan Reddy said the CMRF was a boon for the poor. “We are supporting the needy through the CMRF despite the State facing financial hardships,” he said.

The CMRF in the State was a result of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s initiative, the Minister said, adding that the government was providing the assistance to everyone who applies, regardless of caste, religion, region, or political affiliation. The CMRF stands as a pillar of support for the health of the poor under the alliance government, he said.
