The woman, identified only as Michele, disappeared in September 2015 after leaving her family home at the age of 22.

Epstein, who faced federal charges related to the sex trafficking of minors, died in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial.
A German model who has been missing for nearly 11 years has been identified in documents linked to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, raising fresh concerns about her fate and deepening fears among her family, according to a report published by German news weekly Der Spiegel.
The woman, identified only as Michele, disappeared in September 2015 after leaving her family home at the age of 22. According to the report, she has not contacted her relatives or been seen publicly since.
Der Spiegel, working with public broadcaster ZDF, reported that Michele had maintained contact with model recruiter Daniel Siad, a figure alleged to have had ties to Epstein. Before her disappearance, she is believed to have spent time in Dubai and several other international locations.
The development has renewed scrutiny of Siad, who is currently under investigation in France over allegations that he assisted Epstein in trafficking and abusing women. Siad has denied the accusations.
According to Der Spiegel, Siad’s name appears repeatedly in the so-called Epstein files, including email exchanges in which he allegedly sent Epstein photographs of women along with details of their physical measurements while praising their appearance.
Among those images were reportedly photographs of Michele. The magazine said Siad later wrote to Epstein that “you will love her." However, the report stressed that there is no evidence Michele ever met Epstein.
Two former assistants to Epstein, contacted by Der Spiegel for comment, said they had never seen Michele and were unaware of any connection between her and the financier.
Der Spiegel and ZDF said they attempted to contact Siad regarding the allegations, but neither he nor his lawyer responded to repeated requests for comment.
Epstein, who faced federal charges related to the sex trafficking of minors, died in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial. His death was ruled a suicide.
For Michele’s family, the latest revelations have only intensified long-standing fears about what may have happened to her.
Her mother told Der Spiegel that she now fears the worst.
“I think she’s no longer alive," she was quoted as saying. “That something was done to her."
Despite the emergence of Michele’s name in documents linked to Epstein’s network, her disappearance remains unsolved and there is currently no public evidence establishing what became of her after she left Germany in 2015.
