Mizkif breaks down on livestream and demands jail time for Emiru over allegations as lawsuit claims statements ruined his reputation and career (Image via Getty)
Mizkif, a popular Kick streamer and former Twitch creator, spoke emotionally on a livestream in early March 2026 about the ongoing legal fight with fellow streamer Emily “Emiru” Schunk.
During the stream, he said she should face “jail time” for allegations she made against him months earlier. The dispute started in October 2025, when Emily Schunk spoke during a Twitch broadcast about her past relationship with Mizkif. In that stream, she accused him of sexual assault, abuse, stalking, harassment, and controlling behavior. The claims quickly spread across social media and gaming communities.Mizkif strongly denied those accusations and later filed a lawsuit, arguing that the statements were false and damaged his reputation, career, and finances.
On March 4, 2026, Mizkif went live and spoke openly about the emotional toll the situation has taken on him. He told viewers he felt afraid to even step outside his Los Angeles home, saying the accusations had led some people online to label him a rapist.“This is the person that said I went live with 60,000 viewers and told everyone that I sexually assaulted her,” he said during the stream. “Made everyone stop talking to me.
This person ruined my life. I got called a rapist for this. She literally says it was her emotional definition, not the definition of sexual assault.”Two days later, on March 6, Mizkif streamed again and repeated that he believes the accusations should carry serious legal consequences.
Mizkif says Emily “Emiru” Schunk used the “woman card” and should face legal punishment
During the March 6 livestream, Mizkif argued that the damage caused by the accusations was so serious that it should lead to criminal consequences.“It legitimately should be jail time,” he said. “What she did, using women and the woman card and using what she did should mean jail time. I do not know how anyone else can see otherwise.”Mizkif also claimed that part of the reason the accusations spread so quickly is because he is not always viewed positively online.“I know I am not the most liked figure. It is partially why she did it,” he told viewers. “I know I am not liked for different reasons, but nothing compares to something like this.”Earlier in the same stream, he also pushed back at viewers who suggested that statements coming from Emily Schunk’s side were written by her lawyers.“You realize she is not doing any of this, it is her lawyers,” one viewer wrote in chat.Mizkif rejected that idea.“So let me get this straight,” he replied. “Her lawyer is lying on her behalf and saying everything on her behalf that is not true? Do you really think that makes sense?”He then questioned whether that explanation would hold up in court.“Is that what you can use in court? ‘I committed a crime but actually I did not, my lawyer said that.’ What a stupid thing to say.”The controversy adds to a difficult year for Mizkif. In April 2025, he faced backlash after climbing sakura trees in Japan and doing pull ups on them during a stream. Many viewers felt the act disrespected Japanese culture. Mizkif later apologized publicly and said he took responsibility for that incident. The legal case connected to Emily Schunk’s allegations is still ongoing, and no final court decision has been announced as of March 2026.
