MLC Puttanna urges govt. to allow services of professors of degree colleges as PhD mentors in public universities

Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) and former Deputy Speaker Puttanna has urged the State government to allow the services of senior professors of first-grade colleges as PhD mentors in public universities facing shortage of permanent faculties.

He inaugurated the 36th annual session of Karnataka History Congress on the Central College campus, organised in collaboration with Dr. Manmohan Singh Bengaluru City University, Bangalore University, Government Arts College, Karnataka Archives and Gazetteer Department and the Indian Council for Historical Research southern Regional centre, Bangalore on Friday.
